LUMPIA CLASS

Lumpia is a traditional appetizer (Merienda) that is served when Filipino families and friends gather together, whether it’s for special occasions or just to be with each other.

Meyer Puzon – owner Lodi Cooks, studied culinary home style cooking in the Philippines - Manila, Cavite, and Tagaytay.

Meyer’s class will treat you to his techniques and recipe, passed down from the kitchens of Filipina women, preparing the ingredients and demystify, the sometimes-complicated wrapping techniques of making Lumpia.  Everyone gathering in this experience, which is passed down from generation to generation, will wrap a dozen of their own Lumpia to take home to share with their own family and also take home a new skill to share with family and friends.

Meyer will also show you how to make a sweet sauce and garlic sauce for dipping.

Meyer will utilize hands-on techniques and also use small kitchen appliances and gadgets to expedite the food prep process.

Then we EAT!
